Dr. Rickman grew up in Chesterfield, Virginia, and attended Manchester High School. After high school, he attended Virginia Tech. Once finished with his undergraduate in biology there, he transferred to MCV dental school and has now been in private practice for over 30 years.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association® and is a member of numerous respected dental groups throughout Richmond, Virginia. Volunteering with Virginia Mission of Mercy projects that are conducted in underserved areas of the state are near and dear to his heart.
Dr. Rickman is an avid hunter and enjoys most outdoor activities. He is a large supporter of the Fish and Wildlife Enhancement Act and enjoys cooking. Being a member of Amfam gym and attending Cloverhill Assembly of God also keeps him pretty busy.
Dr. Rickman loves what he does professionally and tries to make his patients as comfortable as possible. He feels great leaving at the end of the workday knowing he has helped patients reach their dental goals.
